The EXFO MAX-715D Single Mode 1310/1550nm OTDR offers 32/30dB dynamic range and OTDR only software. It is used for FTTx point-to-point (P2P) links, last-mile installation and troubleshooting, FTTA fiber-DAS installations and other network testing. The unit has a 7" outdoor-enhanced touchscreen, 2GB of internal memory (20,000 OTDR traces), two USB 2.0 ports, RJ45 LAN 10/100 Mbit/s interfaces and APC connector with swappable SC adapter. The Swap-Out connector health can be checked with an onboard diagnostic tool and easily changed. The OTDR has a 0.9m event dead zone and 3.6m attenuation dead zone. It features automatic macrobend detection, improved auto and real-time modes, linear view, plus 12 hours of continuous operation.
The MAX-715D-SM1-OTDR kit includes the MaxTester 715D, OTDR base software, 20W AC adapter with power cord, rechargeable li-po battery, hand strap, kickstand & soft carry case. One Year Warranty.
